The Random Logic duo are regarded as the pioneers of Slovene contemporary electronic and ambient techno music. At the dawn of the new millennium, their first LP Numrebs was awarded the Radio France International Award for best international electronic music album in Central and Eastern Europe (2001), as well as the Boomerang Award for best Slovene live techno act. More than a decade later, they are transferring their experience as producers into the field of avant-garde theater, dance shows and film, with collaborations in various experimental and popular music projects. If Numrebs defined their sonic image founded on electronic instruments that are based on numbers, algorithms and combinations, randomly and unpredictably connected, their fresh release, as materialized in the album π, is a retreat from mathematical theory and an exploration of music as the art of time. Their performance will be rounded up by the Izland visual collective.
