Slix is Ljudmila's distribution of Linux to common (if such exist) computer users. Completely functional Linux desktop in Slovene language is accessible on CD and it's not necessary to install it on a hard disk. This way, also the beginners can get to know this free operating system without any prejudices.

Participants will learn the basics of Slix desktop usability, test the most used programes, browse the computer, local network and Internet. They will realise they can do anything and even have fun with the use of open source programe. Some words will be dedicated to development of open source programes and contributions each of us can make to improve Linux and Slix even further.
