Autobiography

Marko Hafner has been working in the company Genera Lynx d.o.o. since 2002. He has been working in the field of IT since 1976, at first as a programmer and a constructor of, at the time still automatic data processing, system analyst, database administrator and later as an IT consultant and business informatics manager (Kompas) and also as a professional programmer (Liko Pris, Vrhnika). At the moment he is working as a project manager and system analyst in the company Genera Lynx.

Peter Kobal graduated in 1992 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, where he specialised in computer logic and computer systems. He has been dealing with system of automation and computer led processes since the very beginning of his professional career. He was managing projects for efficient use of energy in Industries, buildings and communal energetics. For the last few years he has been engaged in implementation of modern Internet technologies to various fields of energetics. Since 2002 Peter is a director of the company Genera Lynx d.o.o., which is specialised in introducing IT in Industries and energetics

The use of open source in WapScade and WebControl solutions

Summary: The use of open source at development program equipment for remote management of Industrial processes and control systems. At the beginning we will introduce some existing open source program equipment, which can be and has been used at the development. Further on, we will talk about functional description of WapScade and WebControl. We will conclude by providing some examples of existing applications and with an overview of advantages and disadvantages of open source usage when developing such program equipment.
